This was an email to Local 77 about their specific scenario, but good information related to Minimum Dues Profile. We should create the remaining Dues Profile type descriptions for user understanding.
Because the Bylaws of the Local calls for the Yesco members to pay 3 times their hourly rate of pay per month, the Dues Profile is set up as a Minimum Dues Amount with $23.35 being the minimum a member must pay to move the PTD forward. When posting the money through Employer Remittance, you will post all money received toward Admin Dues and IMSe will figure out how much to apply towards the Minimum (to move the PTD Forward) and the remaining will be applied towards Admin Dues.
In this structure it is very important to set the Paystub Date correctly. The minimum required to be paid is based on the Paystub Date, so if you post the March Report with an incorrect Paystub Date of April, then the April Report with the correct date in April, the minimums would have already been paid by the March report and no PTD’s would move forward and all money would be applied towards Admin Dues.
