Why can’t members pay into next year?

Modified on Thu, Aug 22 at 3:06 PM

Most Dues Profiles have a Start and End Date.  These dates are set up within IMSe to correlate with the Local Union Bylaws.  The Local Union Bylaws all call for rates to change based on Section 17(a) of the General Constitution related to Per Capita Tax increases.

Once we know what the Per Capita Rates will be for the following year, we can then update Dues Profile Dates, or create new Profiles (all based on Local Bylaws Section 13).

Once Dues Profiles ARE extended into the following year, Member Dues Balances will apply towards the member’s Window Dues Paid Through Date at the corresponding monthly dues rate.
