Within IMSe by Default, we MASK the first five digits of a Social Security Number or Social Insurance Number.
We do allow one Power User per District Council to have Full Unmasked SSN/SIN’s, and can allow more per the request of the BM/ST.
We mask these SSN/SIN’s because of the very nature of SSN and SIN’s. This is why we had created the Member ID when creating the IMSe system. All Member Records have a Member ID that is unique to that individual record.
