How to Upload a Document

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Overview

Documents can be uploaded to any specific section within the UNITE platform for future reference. Uploaded Documents can be viewed by other administrative personnel (Officers and Staff, Instructors). Many Folders/ Sub-sections include a Tab labeled Docs that allows you to view/download Documents currently available and upload a new Document from your device.


Locations (Folders) that allow you to Upload Documents include:

 

  • Organizations (District Councils/ Local Unions)
  • Employers
  • Employer Locations
  • Members (Member Roster)
  • Events
  • Event Instances

  


Organizations

  1. Open the Organizations Folder () under Membership > Organizations
  2. Open the Organization card in full page by clicking on an Organization's Card
  3. Docs Tab is located in the middle of the Organization card


Employers

  1. Open the Employers Folder () under Membership > Organizations
  2. Expand the Employer Card by clicking on the Employer Card
  3. Docs Tab is located in the middle of the Employer card 


Employer Locations

  1. Open the Employers Folder () under Membership > Organizations
  2. Expand the desired Employer Location card by clicking on the button on the left- side of the list.
  3. Docs Tab is located in the middle of the Employer card 

 

Members (Member Roster)

  1. Open the Roster Folder () under Membership > Connect
  2. Search for the member that you want to work with
  3. Click the Member you wish to attach the Document to. The Member's Record window will expand
  4. Docs Tab is located towards the right of the Member's Record.

 

 

Events

  1. Open the Events Folder () under Membership > Events
  2. Expand the desired Event card by clicking on the button on the left-side of the list.
  3. Docs Tab is located in the middle of the Event card 

Event Instances

  1. Open the Event Instances Folder () under Membership > Organizations
  2. Expand the desired Instance card by clicking on the button on the left-side of the list.
  3. Docs Tab is located in the middle of the Instance card 

Uploading a New Document

  1. In the Documents Tab of your selected Card, click the button in the top-right side.

If adding a Document to a Member's Record you will be required to set Access for that Document. If Access= All (Member and Staff) this both Member's and any Position Holder in UNITE with access to the Docs Tab will be able to view this Document 
  1. Find the Document you wish upload from your device.
  2. Click the Save button in the bottom-right side of the card when finished.
