Setting A Member's Preferred Language

  • Access the Member's Profile:
    • Navigate to either the Membership or Training Rosters.
    • Select the the member whose preferred language you want to set.
  • Go to the Demographics Section:
    • Go to the Contact tab, navigate to the Demographics section.
  • Select Spoken Languages:
    • Locate the Spoken Languages dropdown menu. Here, you will see a list of several spoken languages available for selection.
  • Choose a Spoken Language(s):

    • Select the desired language from the dropdown menu. You can choose multiple spoken languages.
  • Set Preferred Language:

    • After selecting a language, on the right of the selected language, click on the Set Preferred option.
    • Once selected, the language will change to "Preferred" and will also appear at the top of the Spoken Languages list, indicated in parentheses.
    • You MUST click save on the member record in order to keep these changes.




To help streamline communication, please remember that when adding Preferred Language to the Distribution list, ONE of the breakout lists should include Empty Preferred Language.
