Electronic Application!

The Membership Application process will be streamlined and automated to enable electronic capture of member’s information and real- time validation of data during the entry process. This enhancement will ensure a swift and accurate processing of applications, thereby providing a seamless registration experience.  In order to ensure a hassle-free roll-out, this feature will be rolled out slowly DC by DC at the beginning.

Add Member/Non-Member Usability Update

Are you tired of having to click through every field when adding a Member or Non-Member? If so, this update is for you!

We have updated UNITE so that you can now use your keyboard to traverse through the fields in the Add Member/Non-Member Screen by only using 4 simple keys:

• Tab 
• Enter
• Up Arrow
• Down Arrow 

When in the Add Member/Non-Member screen, select the Tab key to enter the first field. 

When entering dropdown fields, you will have to select the Tab key twice, until the black outline is within the field (see example picture below). 

Once the outline is within the field, select the Enter key to open up the dropdown field. Once open, you can either search for the option (if applicable) or use the Up/Down arrow keys to select what option you want to use. Once you've found your option, select the Enter key again to choose your dropdown option. 

When you are ready to move onto your next field, select the Tab key again. 

This usability update DOES NOT apply to Multi-Select dropdown fields YET! (i.e., Race/Ethnicity Dropdown Field, Languages Dropdown Field)

Global 

• Resolved a bug that did not allow users to log into UNITE 

• Resolved a bug that displayed 0 results when in UNITE 

• Resolved bug that did not display Dymo Label button in Rosters

Communications

• Resolved a bug that did not load recipients in a distribution list, which caused communications to be stuck as "In Progress" or load with 0 Recipients.

Membership

Membership Tab

• Enhanced the system when performing activity changes to update record based on options selected. When performing an activity change like Class Transfer, please be sure to select a Bargaining Unit and/or Sub-Class for the Member you are performing the activity to ensure that the correct data is being saved 

• Resolved a bug that did not allow users to add new members to the roster nor process an activity like Initiate, Class transfer or Reinstatement. 

• Resolved bug that did not display Dues group on Member Profile

Monthly Reports 

• Resolved a bug that did not allow access to users with the right permission to view monthly reports

Accounting

• Added validation in the Make a Payment tab when an invalid E-Mail is entered

Password Reset

• Resolved a bug that displayed an error message when attempting to reset password

Student Roster Time tab 

• Resolved a bug that displayed rejected entry as Blank in the time tab

• Resolved bug that did not allow users to re-submit rejected hours

• Resolved a bug that threw an error message when an email was removed from the contact tab of a prospect’s profile and saved.

• Resolved a bug that displayed “type” in the project reports grid view more than once
