This article covers how to search for messages sent during a certain time period.
In the search box in Gmail, you can use the following search commands to show you mail based on when it was sent.

| Before a date | before:yyyy/mm/dd | before:2021/09/01 |
| After a date | after:yyyy/mm/dd | after:2021/09/01 |
| Older than | older_than:x | older_than:30d older_than:6m older_than:1y |
| Newer than | newer_than:x | newer_than:30d newer_than:6m newer_than:1y |
Type in the search command and press Enter.
Optionally, you can click the Has attachments to view only messages that have attachments.
